Some may ask why PCCGS chose to use a linux operating system rather than the better know Microsoft Windows. The reasons are many-
Getting over FUD (fear, uncertainity, and doubt)- People don't like change. Linux is nothing to fear. Think of borrowing your neighbor's car to visit a nearby city. Some of the controls and knobs are in a slightly different location from your car. When you arrive at your destination most of the street names will be different. If you get lost you stop at the a convience store to ask directions. But you do get there and return home safely. With linux, some of the menus will be in a different location and software may not have a familiar name. But you can accomplish your task and your computer will be more stable and secure.
